CONSUMER OFFER UPDATES

Revised Offer Types:

  • National Offer subscribers must commit to a 24-Month DIRECTV programming agreement to receive the maximum benefits.
  • 12-month agreements will now include the first month of programming free and a $50 Advanced Product instant rebate.
  • Month-to-Month programming will remain at full price with no discounts.

IMPORTANT New Customer Processes:

  • DIRECTV will start administering credit checks and requiring credit cards for all customers.
  • Differentiated Offer Fees will be required at the point of sale for all high risk and Month-to-Month customers in the amount of $100-$300.  This fee will be paid back to the customer at $5 per month.  If the customer leaves DIRECTV and still has a balance it will be forfeited: it will not be applied to any other fee.
  • Auto-Bill Pay will be required for all high risk and Month-to-Month customers.
